About my courses and workshops:
Sugar Craft has been part of my life for over 20 years, starting first as a hobby in the early days and going on to working as a self employed Wedding Cake designer, for many years. This experience has been invaluable to me and led me to do a two year teacher training Certificate, so that I can share some of my experience with you. I knew soon after qualifying as a teacher that I would choose to specialise in teaching the art of sugar flower making. I have twelve years experience of teaching this specialist area of Sugar Craft.
Several years ago The Emerald Heart helped me to find the courage to set up my own courses, that are inspired by the beauty of nature. These courses are open to both beginners and the more experienced, offering you a chance learn a new hobby or improve your skills in a friendly relaxed environment.
At the end of all my course's and workshops the students attending go home having created a beautiful spray or arrangement in sugar. I also feel that the classes help individuals to deepen their appreciation of nature. There are new course's offered throughout the year, enabling you to learn how to create many varieties of flowers and foliage.
